“Removing the barriers to Higher Education for Third Country Nationals”

30 September 2019  from 11 am to 12.15 pm CEST
This webinar will present the findings of the study “Higher Education for Third Country Nationals and Refugee Integration in Southern Europe”, prepared in the framework of TandEM – Towards Empowered Migrant Youth in Southern Europe by the European University Association. With a special focus on Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Malta and Spain, the comparative cross-country study identifies challenges that international and refugee students face in accessing and participating in Higher Education (HE), both at the system level and at individual HE Institutions level. It also provides operational recommendations to overcome barriers and to address TCNs’ HE access-related needs. The webinar will offer the participants a dynamic debate with experts from EUA and IOM, and with representatives from national HE Institutions, on the report’s findings and on topics related to social inclusion and integration policies and actions.
